A first in in the industry, the system is UL 325 listed for safety standards in residential applications. In addition, the Allura® 653RX comes with a weather-resistant enclosure and direct drive operation with monitored photo eyes for safe operation. For additional security, cylinder locking options are also available.
Allura® Residential Exterior Shutter Overview
The product features an extruded aluminum curtain, guides, and bottom bar, allowing an attractive finished look when the shutter is closed. For enhanced customization, the security shutter is available in four standard PowderGuard powder coat finishes and 200 powder coat color options to match your home.
The PowderGuard finishes provide reliable, lasting durability and a more consistent color finish than anodized aluminum.

Mounting: The exterior face of the wall mounted to the tube frame structure
Battery Backup: BBU included door operation during brief power outages. Manual process in the event of an extended outage
