The WindStorm™ Model 515 is an insulated sectional steel door designed for facilities that need reliable wind-load performance and thermal protection. Its 1⅜-inch-thick insulated panels provide a calculated R-value of 12.12. With a durable steel exterior and an effective thermal break, Model 515 reduces heat transfer while delivering dependable operation for commercial applications.
WindStorm™ Model 525
The WindStorm™ Model 525 delivers enhanced insulation performance for demanding commercial and industrial environments. Its 1⅞-inch-thick insulated steel sections provide a calculated R-value of 16.22. Model 525 also offers low air infiltration, making it a strong option for facilities where temperature control, durability, and wind-load requirements matter.
Overhead Door™ Brand participates in the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program. The program verifies the thermal performance of sectional doors. The lower the U-factor rating, the better the thermal performance.
The symbol indicates a verified U-factor rating in accordance with the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program.
1 – U-Factors are based on independent testing and verified per ANSI/DASMA 105. For products other than aluminum full-view doors, testing was conducted on specific sizes of solid doors. Actual thermal performance may vary by door size and configuration.
2 – R-value is a measure of thermal efficiency. The higher the R-value the greater the insulating properties of the door. Overhead Door Corporation uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors.

WindStorm™ Models 421/423, 427/429, and 434/436 are non-insulated and insulated doors featuring Miami-Dade certifications for static pressures and impact. Constructed of 20- or 24-gauge steel and designed with 4” horizontal struts to enhance door strength and performance.
